Specificity This antibody recognises an extra cellular domain of the c-erb B-3 protein, a 180kD glycoprotein which is a growth factor receptor with tyrosine kinase activity. c-erb B-3 is expressed widely in normal human tissues, but is overexpressed in some tumours, including those of the breast, stomach, pancreas and colon.

Application Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro)), Enzyme Immunoassay (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP)
Application Notes Flow cytometry: use 5 ul of neat antibody to label 106 cells. Immuno-histochemistry on frozen sections. Immunoprecipitation. ELISA. Not suitable for western blotting and immunohistochemistry on paraffin embedded sections. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Concentration 1.0 mg/ml IgG
Buffer This antibody is supplied as liquid, Protein A affinity purified immunoglobulin fraction in PBS buffer pH 7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody at 4-8°C for one month or at –20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
