| Specificity | Reacts with human G Protein-Coupled Receptor GPRC6A, N-terminal extracellular domain of human, (family: GPCR, subfamily: Amino Acid Receptor). The peptide sequence shows 82% identity (88 % homology) to mouse and rat. GPRC6A has been shown to bind to L-alpha-amino acids. Recently GPRC6A has been suggested to be a calcium-sensing receptor Pi et al. 2005). Ligand: L-alpha-amino acids, including L-Arg, L-Lys and L-ornithine Wellendorph et al. 2004). |
