| Specificity | This antibody detects human G Protein-Coupled Receptor GRP105 (Family: GPCR, Subfamily: Sugar Sensing), 2nd extracellular loop. The immunizing peptide shows 65% identity (94% homology) with mouse and 64% identity (94% homology) with rat. Reactivity on mouse and rat tissues has not been evaluated. GPR105 has been reported to be expressed in brain. ESTs have been isolated from kidney, placenta, uterus, and heart/melanocyte/uterus libraries. |

| Application Notes | Immunohistochemistry on paraffin embedded sections: 11 µg/ml. Antigen retrieval: Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, at 99-100°C for 20 min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer for 20 min. Rinse in 1x TBS with Tween (TBST) fo r 1 min. at room temperature. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. |
