| Description | This antibody reacts with the 180, 140, 125 and 120 kD isoforms of neural cell adhesion molecule. N-CAMs are a family of cell surface sialoglycoproteins mediating homotypic and heterotypic cell-cell interactions. It also reacts with neuroectodermally derived tumors, including small cell carcinoma and neuroblastoma. It also recognizes rhabdomyosarcoma, Wilms tumor and a proportion of Ewings Sarcoma. |

| Application Notes | Immunohistochemistry (Frozen). For a three-step avidin-biotin complex system, a dilution of 1:10 to 1:20 may be used as a guideline. The optimal conditions should be determined by the individual laboratory. Dilute according to the particular application being used. In general, the 0.05M Borate pH 8.0 containing 0.15M Sodium Chloride, 0.05% Sodium Azide, is a good diluent to use with most antibodies. |
