Specificity Neurofibrillary tangles (NFT) are made up of paired helical filaments and are a feature of Alzheimer's disease (AD). ABIN121838 recognises NFT and degenerating plaque neurites in cases of AD, Down's Syndrome and normal aged individuals. ABIN121838 recognises all NFT as well as paired helical filament-containing neurites.

Application Notes Immunhistology on paraffin sections, ELISA and Western blotting. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions of this antibody are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Buffer This antibody is supplied as liquid serum with 0.09% sodium azide as preservative.
Storage Store the antibody undiluted at 4-8°C for one month or at –20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
