| Description | This antibody reacts with a 170 kD protein. Multi-drug resistance (MDR) associated with p-glycoprotein (p170) causes resistance to various drugs in a number of cancer patients. It exists as soluble and membrane associated form. Soluble p-glycoprotein is detected in extracellular fluids of cancer patients, such as malignant ascites and serum. |

| Host | Mouse |
Application Details: P170/p-Glycoprotein/MDR antibody
| Application | Immunohistochemistry ((Frozen Sections) (IHC) (fro)), Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed Sections) (IHC (f)), Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin-embedded Sections) (IHC (p)) |
| Application Notes | This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the end user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. |
| Purity | This antibody is supplied as culture supernatant containing sodium azide as preservative. |
| Buffer | PBS with sodium azide |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 4-8 C. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Restrictions | For research use only |
