Application Notes
|
ELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. This antibody has been used as a coating antibody at 5ug/ml in a two site ELISA with biotin conjugated TNF alpha antibody. Typically the ELISA has a working range of 0-10000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 5 pg/ml with the appropriate standard. Recommended sample volumes are 25-200 ul. Recovery of human TNF alpha in human serum is typically >85% in the ELISA. IP: Use at an assay dependent dilution. This antibody has been used to immunoprecipitate >90% TNF alpha in solution using a double-antibody method (Midgley AR & Hepburn MR Use of the double-antibody method to separate antibody bound from free ligand in radioimmunoassay. Methods Enzymol 70:266-74 (1980). PubMed: 7421592). Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
