| Application Notes | This antibody can be used on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Prolonged fixation in buffered formalin can destroy the epitope. In a three-step streptavidin-biotin method a dilution of 1:10 to 1:20 may be used as a guideline. When using paraffin-embedded and formalin-fixed tissues, high temperature antigenic unmasking technique (see instructions below) is strongly recommended for consistent and reproducible results. Overnight incubation showed to be optimal with this antibody. This product can be also used on frozen tissue sections. The optimal conditions should be determined by the individual laboratory. |
