Description Anti-FITC (fluorescein isothiocyanate) monoclonal antibody spe- cifically detects both the free and protein conjugated (either soluble or cell-bound) form of fluorescein or carboxyfluorescein. This antibody is suitable for use in immunohistochemistry (acetone-fixed frozen section), flow cytometry, and immunoprecipitation of cells or molecules labeled with fluorescein derivates (FITC or CFSE). Also, this mAb is able to quench FITC fluorescence. There is no endogeneous tissue staining with this antibody.
