| Application Notes | Flow Cytometry: assay dependent. Functional studies (see below): assay dependent. Immunoprecipitation (with protein G): use at a concentration of 2ug/mg of protein lysate. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions / concentrations should be determined by the end user. This antibody is not suitable for western blot (Tang C, et. al). This antibody does not interfere with receptor-heregulin binding and is particularly wellsuited for immunoprecipitation of unoccupied as wellas the occupied c-erbB-4 receptor (Chen X, et. al.). It reacts withintact cells, stimulates tyrosine kinase activity, andefficiently stimulates internalization of c-erbB-4 (Chen X, et. al.). |
