Purpose ECL Western Blotting Substrate is a highly sensitive, nonradioactive, enhanced luminol-based chemiluminescent substrate for easy detection of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) on immunoblots. BioVision ECL Western Blotting Substrate offers superior signal and clear background. Blots can be repeatedly exposed to X-ray film or a CCD camera to obtain optimal results or stripped of the immunodetection reagents and re-probed. The special formulation of BioVision ECL substrate makes it ideal substitute for Amersham ECL substrate without the need for additional optimization of assay conditions.
Characteristics ECL Western Blotting Substrate: Highly Sensitive, Nonradioactive, Enhanced luminol-based chemiluminescent Substrate for easy detection of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) on immunoblots. Superior signal and Clear background. Pack Size: 50 & 500 ml.

DETECTION PROCEDURE:
1. Mix Detection Reagents A & B at a 1:1 ratio. 2. Immediately add the mixture to the blot. Use 0.125 mL working solution per cm 2 of membrane. 3. Incubate the blot for about 1 minute at room temperature. 4. Drain excess reagents. 5. Cover blot with a clear plastic sheet protector or clear plastic wrap. 6. Expose blot to X-ray film.
Components 25 ml Reagent A
25 ml Reagent B
