More Antibodies against PI4KA Interaction Partners

Human Phosphatidylinositol 4-Kinase, Catalytic, alpha (PI4KA) interaction partners

  1. Missense mutations in PI4KA are associated with perisylvian polymicrogyria, cerebellar hypoplasia and arthrogryposis.

  2. PI4KA and GRM3 (show GRM3 Antibodies) polymorphisms have potential to jointly modulate antipsychotic response

  3. PI4KA mRNA could be used as a new molecular marker to improve established prognostic models for hepatocellular carcinoma.

  4. Descriptive Statement The genetic interactions associated with ILVatrophy rate in this study may be mapping variants inSYNJ2andPI4KAthat interact to decrease synthesisof PIP (show PIP Antibodies).

  5. PI4KA is essential for the maintenance of plasma membrane phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate pools but only during strong stimulation of receptors coupled to phospholipase C (show PLC Antibodies) activation.

  6. Cell culture studies with Phosphatidylinositol-4-kinase IIIalpha inhibitors demonstrated that the kinase activity was essential for hepatitis C virus RNA replication.

  7. Phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase IIalpha is palmitoylated by Golgi-localized palmitoyltransferases in cholesterol-dependent manner

  8. PI4KA is necessary for the local enrichment of PI 4-phosphate at the hepatitis c virus membranous web.

  9. These results suggest that hepatitis C virus NS5A modulation of PI4KA-dependent phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate production influences replication complex formation.

  10. Study identify the molecular chaperone (show HSP90AA1 Antibodies) Hsp90 (show HSP90 Antibodies) as a binding partner of PI4KIIbeta (show PI4K2B Antibodies), but not of PI4KIIalpha.

PI4KA Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a phosphatidylinositol (PI) 4-kinase which catalyzes the first committed step in the biosynthesis of phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. The mammalian PI 4-kinases have been classified into two types, II and III, based on their molecular mass, and modulation by detergent and adenosine. The protein encoded by this gene is a type III enzyme that is not inhibited by adenosine. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
