Human Myeloproliferative Leukemia Virus Oncogene (MPL) interaction partners

  1. In essential thrombocythemia, MPL mutations might be associated with a higher risk of fibrotic transformation and the presence of JAK2 (show JAK2 ELISA Kits)/MPL mutations with higher risk of thrombosis.

  2. PARP-1 (show PARP1 ELISA Kits) has an important role in the progression of acute myeloid leukemia (show BCL11A ELISA Kits) by suppressing the myeloproliferative leukemia virus oncogene

  3. mutant CALR (show CALR ELISA Kits) promotes myeloproliferative neoplasm development by activating c-MPL and its downstream pathway.

  4. Thrombopoietin receptor activation by myeloproliferative neoplasm associated calreticulin (show CALR ELISA Kits) mutants.

  5. we describe a Mpl W515K somatic mutation in a paediatric case of ET who presented with Budd-Chiari syndrome. No paediatric patient harbouring a Mpl W515K mutation has been previously reported.

  6. His(499) regulates the activation of human TpoR and provides additional protection against activating mutations, such as oncogenic Asn mutations in the TM domain

  7. this study has shown that in a fraction of the so-called triple-negative ETs (show ETS1 ELISA Kits) a significant proportion of patients have mutations in signaling molecules, more particularly in MPL.

  8. erythrocyte lineage enforces exclusivity through upregulation of EKLF (show KLF1 ELISA Kits) and its lineage-specific cytokine receptor (show EBI3 ELISA Kits) (EpoR (show EPOR ELISA Kits)) while inhibiting both FLI-1 (show FLI1 ELISA Kits) and the receptor TpoR (also known as MPL) for the opposing megakaryocyte lineage

  9. Compared to normal controls, the frequency of the JAK246/1 haplotype was significantly higher among patients with JAK2V617F, JAK2Ex12del, or MPL mutations, whereas no significant difference was found among CALR (show CALR ELISA Kits) mutation-positive patients

  10. Flow cytometric detection of MPL (CD110) as a diagnostic tool for differentiation of congenital thrombocytopenias.

Mouse (Murine) Myeloproliferative Leukemia Virus Oncogene (MPL) interaction partners

  1. CALR (show CALR ELISA Kits) mutants are sufficient to induce thrombocytosis through MPL activation.

  2. Thrombopoietin receptor activation by myeloproliferative neoplasm associated calreticulin (show CALR ELISA Kits) mutants.

  3. The interaction between Mpl and Atp5d (show ATP5D ELISA Kits) was confirmed by the yeast two-hybrid system, mammalian two-hybrid assay, pull-down experiment, and co-immunoprecipitation study in vivo and in vitro.

  4. Mouse prenatal platelet-forming lineages share a core transcriptional program but divergent dependence on MPL.

  5. MERIT40 (show BABAM1 ELISA Kits) deficiency triggers hypersensitivity to Tpo (show THPO ELISA Kits) stimulation and the stem cell phenotypes are abrogated on a background null for the Tpo (show THPO ELISA Kits) receptor Mpl.

  6. OTT1 regulates the alternative splicing of Mpl-TR, a truncated isoform of c-Mpl, which modulates Thrombopoietin (show THPO ELISA Kits)-mediated signaling.

  7. Mpl expression, but not Tpo (show THPO ELISA Kits), is fundamental in the development of JAK2V617F(+) myeloproliferative neoplasms

  8. Thrombopoietin (show THPO ELISA Kits)/MPL signaling confers growth and survival capacity to CD41-positive cells in a mouse model of Evi1 (show MECOM ELISA Kits) leukemia.

  9. These studies show the importance of the c-Mpl membrane-distal cytokine receptor (show LEPR ELISA Kits) homology module to thrombopoietin (show THPO ELISA Kits)-binding and suggest that mutations within this CRM that perturb TPO (show THPO ELISA Kits) binding could give rise to Congenital Amegakaryocytic Thrombocytopenia.

  10. Mpl expression on megakaryocytes and platelets is essential to prevent megakaryocytosis and myeloproliferation.

MPL Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

In 1990 an oncogene, v-mpl, was identified from the murine myeloproliferative leukemia virus that was capable of immortalizing bone marrow hematopoietic cells from different lineages. In 1992 the human homologue, named, c-mpl, was cloned. Sequence data revealed that c-mpl encoded a protein that was homologous with members of the hematopoietic receptor superfamily. Presence of anti-sense oligodeoxynucleotides of c-mpl inhibited megakaryocyte colony formation. The ligand for c-mpl, thrombopoietin, was cloned in 1994. Thrombopoietin was shown to be the major regulator of megakaryocytopoiesis and platelet formation. The protein encoded by the c-mpl gene, CD110, is a 635 amino acid transmembrane domain, with two extracellular cytokine receptor domains and two intracellular cytokine receptor box motifs . TPO-R deficient mice were severely thrombocytopenic, emphasizing the important role of CD110 and thrombopoietin in megakaryocyte and platelet formation. Upon binding of thrombopoietin CD110 is dimerized and the JAK family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases, as well as the STAT family, the MAPK family, the adaptor protein Shc and the receptors themselves become tyrosine phosphorylated.
