Background

Agrisera was established in 1980 in the Swedish city Vännäs. From the very beginning it was the main aim of the company to develop and produce high-quality antibodies on which the customer can rely. At Agrisera this objective is carried out successfully in day-to-day business so that, in addition to antibody development, the company also produces proteins and peptides of high purity. To meet this target, Agrisera utilizes the experience of many years in their in-house research department and collaborates with scientists all over the world.

On antibodies-online you can find more than 800 primary antibodies made by Agrisera. Most of these antibodies are generated polyclonally in hosts such as rabbit, goat, chicken, mouse, donkey and sheep; however, antibodies-online also offers you a selection of monoclonal primary antibodies produced in mouse. Reactivities of these antibodies are especially interesting for researchers who work in botany, plant physiology, agricultural science, green biotechnology, and food and crop monitoring. Several antibodies from Agrisera are suitable for detection of antigens in Arabidopsis thaliana, Zea mays (maize), Pisum sativum (pea), Oryza sativa (rice), Porphyra (red algae) and in many other plants, algae and fungi. In most cases the unconjugated Agrisera primary antibodies are suitable for applications such as Western blot and ELISA. Some antibodies can also be employed in immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and highly specialized applications such as Blue-native PAGE gels. Additionally, on antibodies-online you can purchase more than 500 secondary antibodies made by Agrisera. Secondary antibodies are conjugated to HRP, biotin, alkaline phosphatase or fluorochromes such as TRITC, FITC and DyLight dyes. The product range of Agrisera on antibodies-online also contains high-quality proteins and peptides, sera and purified immunoglobulins of several species, and ready-to-use kits for quantification of capacity for photosynthesis and RuBisCO concentration.

The numerous figures, which were produced using Agrisera products, and the large number of publications in which these products have been successfully employed are evidence of the quality of Agrisera products. To get an idea of this quality, compare the products made by Agrisera with products from our other suppliers. In this way you will find the products that best fit your research.
