Antigen
Alternative Name AP-1 / c-Jun (JUN Antibody Abstract)
Background C-Jun is a component of the transcription factor AP-1 (1). The transcriptional activity ofc-Jun is regulated by phosphorylation at serines 63 and 73 (1,2). Extracellular signals, including growth factors, transforming oncoproteins and UV light, stimulatephosphorylation of c-Jun at Ser63/73 and activate c-Jun-dependent transcription (3,4). Alternate Names: anti-AP1 antibody, anti-Activator Protein 1 antibody, anti-Enhancer Binding Protein AP1antibody, anti-JUN antibody, anti-JUN protein antibody, anti-JUNC antibody, anti-JunActivation Domain Binding Protein antibody, anti-Jun oncogene antibody, anti-Protooncogene cJun antibody, anti-Transcription Factor AP1 antibody, anti-V jun aviansarcoma virus 17 oncogene homolog antibody, anti-p39 antibody, anti-vJun AvianSarcoma Virus 17 Oncogene Homolog antibody.
Gene Symbol: JUN
Gene ID 3725, 16476, 24516
Pathways MAPK Signaling, RTK Signaling, WNT Signaling, TCR Signaling, Fc-epsilon Receptor Signaling Pathway

Buffer PBS 49 % , Glycerol 50 % , BSA 0.05 % , Sodium Azide
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
