Antigen
Alternative Name MKK3/MEK3 (MAP2K3 Antibody Abstract)
Background The protein encoded by this gene is a dual specificity protein kinase that belongs to theMAP kinase kinase family. This kinase is activated by mitogenic and environmentalstress, and participates in the MAP kinase-mediated signaling cascade. Itphosphorylates and thus activates MAPK14/p38-MAPK. This kinase can be activated byinsulin, and is necessary for the expression of glucose transporter. Expression of RASoncogene is found to result in the accumulation of the active form of this kinase, whichthus leads to the constitutive activation of MAPK14, and confers oncogenictransformation of primary cells. The inhibition of this kinase is involved in thepathogenesis of Yersina pseudotuberculosis. Three alternatively spliced transcriptvariants of this gene encoding distinct isoforms have been reported. Alternate Names: anti-Dual specificity mitogen activated protein kinase kinase 3 antibody, anti-MAPkinase kinase 3 antibody, anti-MAPK ERK kinase 3 antibody, anti-MAPKK 3 antibody,anti-MAPKK3 antibody, anti-MEK 3 antibody, anti-MKK3 antibody, anti-mMKK3bantibody, anti-Protein kinase mitogen activated kinase 3 antibody, anti-SKK2 antibody.

Concentration 1.0 mg/mL
Buffer Phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, and 50 % glycerol, Sodium Azide
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
