Product Details anti-MAPK3 Antibody

Target Details MAPK3 Application Details Handling Images
Specificity This antibody specifically interacts with the pThr - Glu - pTyr motif of activated MAP kinases 1 and 2 (erk1/2). The antibody requires phosphorylation both at the threonine and the tyrosine site and does not interact with the non-phosphorylated form of the protein. Mab MAPK-12D4 shows no crossreaction with activated SAP kinases 1 or 2.
Characteristics Synonyms: ERK-1/ERK-2, MAPK1/MAPK2, P42/P44-MAPK, Extracellular signal regulated kinase 1/2,Insulin stimulated MAP2 kinase, Microtubule associated protein 2 kinase, Mitogenactivated protein kinase 1/2/3
Purification Size exclusion chromatography
Components incl. positive Control
Immunogen Synthetic phosphopeptide conjugated to KLH

Alternative Name MAPK3 / ERK1 (MAPK3 Antibody Abstract)
Background Extracellular signal/mitogen activated protein kinases (erk/MAPK) are a group of proline-directed serine/threonine kinases that are activated by dual phosphorylation of conserved threonine and tyrosine residues within a characteristic T X Y peptide motif. The mitogen-activated kinases erk1 (MAPK1) and erk2 (MAPK2) acquire full enzymatic activity upon phosphorylation of both threonine and tyrosine residues within the sequence motif T E Y.Synonyms: ERK-1, ERT2, Extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1, Insulin-stimulated MAP2 kinase, MAP kinase 3, MAP kinase isoform p44, MAPK 3, Microtubule-associated protein 2 kinase, Mitogen-activated protein kinase 1, Mitogen-activated protein kinase 3, PRKM3, p44-ERK1, p44-MAPK
Gene ID 5595
Pathways MAPK Signaling, RTK Signaling, Interferon-gamma Pathway, Fc-epsilon Receptor Signaling Pathway, Neurotrophin Signaling Pathway, Response to Growth Hormone Stimulus, Activation of Innate immune Response, Cellular Response to Molecule of Bacterial Origin, Hepatitis C, Protein targeting to Nucleus, Toll-Like Receptors Cascades, Signaling Events mediated by VEGFR1 and VEGFR2, Signaling of Hepatocyte Growth Factor Receptor, VEGFR1 Specific Signals
