Antigen
Alternative Name Transforming protein RhoA (RHOA Antibody Abstract)
Background Synonyms: ARH12, ARHA, RHO12,RHOA,h12,Rho cDNA clone 12
Regulates a signal transduction pathway linking plasma membrane receptors to the assembly of focal adhesions and actin stress fibers. Serves as a target for the yopT cysteine peptidase from Yersinia pestis, vector of the plague, and Yersinia pseudotuberculosis, which causes gastrointestinal disorders. May be an activator of PLCE1. Activated by ARHGEF2, which promotes the exchange of GDP for GTP. Essential for the SPATA13-mediated regulation of cell migration and adhesion assembly and disassembly.
Pathways Microtubule Dynamics, WNT Signaling, Neurotrophin Signaling Pathway, Intracellular Steroid Hormone Receptor Signaling Pathway, Regulation of Intracellular Steroid Hormone Receptor Signaling, Regulation of Actin Filament Polymerization, Cell-Cell Junction Organization, Positive Regulation of Endopeptidase Activity, Signaling Events mediated by VEGFR1 and VEGFR2, Thromboxane A2 Receptor Signaling
