now in their seventh year, have become a key event on the open access calendar. This prestigious award celebrates the very best in open access research across all disciplines published in
250 journals for 2012. The winning articles, selected by dedicated judging panels, are chosen for their innovation and high-quality execution and discussion. There are ten award categories, among them Cancer, Microbiology/ Immunology/ Infection/ Inflammation and Molecular and Cellular Science. The 10 award categories will be shortlisted for the BioMed Central Research Award. The overall winner of the BioMed Central Research Award carries a £5,000 prize and will be sponsored by antibodies-online.com. The winner will be announced and presented by Dr. Andreas Kessell, co-founder of antibodies-online.com, at a ceremony to be held on the evening of Sunday 21st of April, at the Experimental Biology FASEB meeting in Boston, USA.
