Glutamate Dehydrogenase: Frequently cited antibody

Image for glutamate dehydrogenase
Glutamate is a majorexcitatory neurotransmitter. One enzyme central to the metabolism of glutamate is glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH 1 , EC 1.4.1.3), that catalyzes the reversible deamination of L-glutamate to 2-oxoglutarate using NAD+ or NADP+. Mammalian GDH is composed of six identical subunits, and the regulation of GDH is very complex.
The anti-glutamate dehydrogenase appears in Material and Methods of many publications. Especially this antibody is being used for ELISA, Western Blotting and Immunoprecipitation. Publication references for the anti-glutamate dehydrogenase are listed on the datasheet.
