Ovalbumin (chicken albumin) is an egg white protein which represents more than 50 % of egg white total proteins. Ovalbumin is a major allergen, and is frequently found in food products. Therefore anti-ovalbumin antibodies can be used in the allergy research field. This »anti-ovalbumin antibody is highly specific and has less than one percent cross-reactivity to other albumin forms.
