Programmed cell death 4 (PDCD4) protein is localized to the nucleus in proliferating cells. PDCD4 is thought to play a role in apoptosis but the exact role has not yet been elucidated. Two recent publications in Oncogene and PLOS one utilized a polyclonal anti-PDCD4 antibody for studies in rodents. The antibody can be used for Western Blottin and ELISA assays.
