Mechanisms of break-down of hydroperoxide produced during photosynthesis

Peroxiredoxins act by reducing hydroperoxides, which naturally occur as a side-product of the photosynthetic process. A recent study utilized an anti-peroxiredoxin antibody in order to address the question of break-down of reactive oxygen species in Arabidopsis thaliana chloroplasts. Here you may find the applied »antibody against ATPRX Q. On antibodies-online a large number of additional »peroxiredoxin antibodies can be found.
