Peroxiredoxin Q in current study on oxidative stress in Arabidopsis thaliana

Photosynthesis produces reactive oxygen species, such as hydrogen peroxide, which are reduced by peroxiredoxins (Prx). Peroxiredoxin enzymes are ubiquitous in all kingdoms of life. antibodies-online offers antibodies against various peroxidoxins like Prx Q for example, which acts by reducing hydroperoxides. A recent study investigated the functions of peroxidoxins in Arabidopsis thaliana using this antibody.
