Antigen
Alternative Name NRAS (NRAS Antibody Abstract)
Background Ras, a signal transducer, was first characterized as the transforming genes of Harvey& Kristen sarcoma virus (1). The Ras family (H-Ras, N-Ras, and K-Ras) regulatescell growth, differentiation and apoptosis (2). Switching from an active or resting state,Ras can either bind GTP or GDP respectively. In the triphosphate conformation, Ras willinteract with GTPase activating protein (GAP) to increase its activity (3). Mutations inany of the three isoforms can convert these proteins into active oncogenes. Additionally,Ras mutations are found in 30% of all human cancer (4). Alternate Names: anti-C K RAS antibody, anti-c K ras protein antibody, anti-c K ras2 protein antibody,anti-c Ki ras antibody, anti-C Kirsten ras protein antibody, anti-Cellular c Ki ras2 protooncogene antibody, anti-GTPase KRas antibody, anti-GTPase NRas antibody, anti-KRas 2 antibody, anti-K ras p21 protein antibody, anti-K RAS2A antibody, anti-K RAS2Bantibody, anti-K RAS4A antibody, anti-K RAS4B antibody, anti-KI RAS antibody,anti-Kirsten rat sarcoma 2 viral (v Ki ras2) oncogene homolog antibody, anti-KRASantibody, anti-KRAS1 antibody, anti-KRAS2 antibody, anti-N ras antibody,anti-Neuroblastoma RAS viral (v-ras) oncogene homolog antibody, anti-NRAS antibody,anti-NRAS1 antibody, anti-NS3 antibody, anti-oncogene KRAS2 antibody, anti-PR310 cK ras oncogene antibody, anti-RASK2 antibody, anti-Transforming protein N Rasantibody, anti-transforming protein p21 antibody, anti-v Ki ras2 Kirsten rat sarcoma viraloncogene homolog antibody, anti-v ras neuroblastoma RAS viral oncogene homologantibody.

Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
