  1. a novel molecular mechanism which, in silico, is capable of triggering p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) oscillations. The mechanism that is based on Mdm2's dual regulation of p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) can provide mechanistic insights into an excitability of the p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) network, thus it contributes to understanding of variability of p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) dynamics in response to single and double strand breaks.

  2. Histologically low-grade and relatively low-grade cases of extraskeletal osteosarcoma are not always associated with MDM2 amplification. ESOS cases with MDM2 amplification could be high grade.

  3. Disturbed p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits)-MDM2 feedback loop contributing to the pathogenesis of thoracic aortic dissection may be linked to TRIM25 (show TRIM25 ELISA Kits) overexpression.

  4. These results identify a novel function for FKBP12 (show FKBP1A PLURAL_@45135@) in downregulating MDM2, which directly enhances sensitivity of cancer cells to chemotherapy and nutlin-3 treatment.

  5. Although uncommon, MDM2 labeling is seen in a subset of fat-predominant angiolipomas and is a potential diagnostic pitfall in the evaluation of fatty tumors of the retroperitoneum.

  6. high-level MDM2 expression is needed in order to perform a critical p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits)-independent function and may obviate the need for genomic alterations to the p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) pathway during retinoblastoma tumorigenesis.

  7. p16 in combination with MDM2 and CDK4 (show CDK4 ELISA Kits) immunohistochemistry may help in the differential diagnosis of atypical lipomatous tumor/well-differentiated liposarcoma and dedifferentiated liposarcoma.

  8. MDM2 gene single nucleotide polymorphism are associated with apoptotic signaling and smoking-related emphysematous changes in lungs.

  9. we determined the molecular mechanism responsible for IER3 (show IER3 ELISA Kits) degradation, involving a ternary complex of IER3 (show IER3 ELISA Kits), MDM2 and FHL2 (show FHL2 ELISA Kits), which may contribute to cervical tumor growth. Furthermore, we demonstrated that FHL2 (show FHL2 ELISA Kits) serves as a scaffold for E3 ligase and its substrate during the ubiquitination reaction, a function that has not been previously reported for this protein

  10. NPM1 (show NPM1 ELISA Kits) downregulation by P-STAT5 (show STAT5A ELISA Kits) is mediated by impairing the BRCA1-BARD1 (show BARD1 ELISA Kits) ubiquitin ligase, which controls the stability of NPM1 (show NPM1 ELISA Kits). In turn, decreased NPM1 (show NPM1 ELISA Kits) levels led to suppression of p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) expression, resulting in enhanced cell survival.

  1. results suggest overexpression of MDM2 is closely linked to inhibition of p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits)-dependent apoptosis of Theileria parva (show PARVA ELISA Kits)-infected lymphocytes; aberrant expression of host lymphocyte MDM2 induced by cytoplasmic existence of T. parva (show PARVA ELISA Kits), directly and/or indirectly, is associated with aspects of this type of transformation of T. parva (show PARVA ELISA Kits)-infected lymphocytes

  1. Data indicate that knockdown of the Mdm2 and Mdm4 (show MDM4 ELISA Kits) caused dramatic accumulation of mutant p53 protein (show TP53 ELISA Kits).

  2. Together with p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits), provides an experimental model for characterizing drugs and genes that affect p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) signaling.

  3. Data show that liver-specific expression of p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits)-negative regulator mdm2 leads to growth retardation and fragile liver in zebrafish.

Mouse (Murine) Mdm2, p53 E3 Ubiquitin Protein Ligase Homolog (Mouse) (MDM2) interaction partners

  1. In Fmr1 (show FMR1 ELISA Kits) KO neurons, Mdm2 is hyperphosphorylated, nuclear localized basally, and unaffected by MEF2 (show MEF2C ELISA Kits) activation, which our data suggest due to an enhanced interaction with Eukaryotic Elongation Factor (show TSFM ELISA Kits) 1alpha (EF1alpha), whose protein levels are elevated in Fmr1 (show FMR1 ELISA Kits) KO. Expression of a dephosphomimetic of Mdm2 rescues PSD-95 (show DLG4 ELISA Kits) ubiquitination, degradation and synapse elimination in Fmr1 (show FMR1 ELISA Kits) KO neurons.

  2. MDM2 is a non-redundant survival factor for proximal tubular cells by protecting them from spontaneous p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) overexpression-related cell death.

  3. The case emphasizes that MDM2 expression represents a possible pitfall in the diagnosis of spindle cell tumors. The differential diagnostic distinction between FDCS and a dedifferentiated liposarcoma is discussed.

  4. MDM2 is involved in fibroblast activation, mediating renal tubulointerstitial fibrosis via a p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits)-independent pathway dependant on Notch1 (show NOTCH1 ELISA Kits) ubiquitination and proteasome degradation.

  5. These findings suggest that Mdm2 splice isoforms may play critical roles in the regulatory loop of p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits)/Mdm2-Mdm4 (show MDM4 ELISA Kits) via a RING domain-mediated biochemical mechanism.

  6. both MDM2 and MDMX (show MDM4 ELISA Kits) deletion-caused pancreatic defects are completely rescued by loss of p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits), verifying the crucial role of the MDM2 and/or MDMX (show MDM4 ELISA Kits) in regulating p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) in a spatio-temporal manner during the development, functional maintenance, and related disease progress of endocrine pancreas.

  7. Vif (show BTG1 ELISA Kits) stabilization by CBFbeta (show CBFB ELISA Kits) is mainly caused by impairing MDM2-mediated degradation.

  8. These results demonstrated a critical prosurvival role for MDM2 in the oocytes

  9. we failed to detect any increase in p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) level in mutant oocytes, nor any other apoptotic marker, introgression of this targeted invalidation in p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits)-/- mice restored the fertility of females. This study is the first to show that Mdm2, but not Mdm4 (show MDM4 ELISA Kits), has a critical role in oocyte survival and would be involved in premature ovarian insufficiency phenotype.

  10. Inhibition of MDM2 re-sensitizes rapamycin resistant renal cancer cells via the activation of p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits).

MDM2 Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene is a target gene of the transcription factor tumor protein p53. The encoded protein is a nuclear phosphoprotein that binds and inhibits transactivation by tumor protein p53, as part of an autoregulatory negative feedback loop. Overexpression of this gene can result in excessive inactivation of tumor protein p53, diminishing its tumor suppressor function. This protein has E3 ubiquitin ligase activity, which targets tumor protein p53 for proteasomal degradation. This protein also affects the cell cycle, apoptosis, and tumorigenesis through interactions with other proteins, including retinoblastoma 1 and ribosomal protein L5. More than 40 different alternatively spliced transcript variants have been isolated from both tumor and normal tissues.
