Description
Annexin VIII is a member of the annexin family of evolutionarily conserved Ca2+ andphospholipid binding proteins. It may function as an anticoagulant which indirectlyinhibits the thromboplastin-specific complex. Overexpression of this gene has beenassociated with acute myelocytic leukemia.
Specificity
The peptide is used for blocking the antibody activity of ABIN127268 only.
Application Notes
Western blot: It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot analysis byincubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 minutes at 37°C. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
