Alternative Name Amyloid beta A4 protein / APP
Background Alternate names: ABPP, APPI, Alzheimer disease amyloid protein, Amyloid Precursor Protein, CVAP, Cerebral vascular amyloid peptide, PreA4, Protease nexin-II
Gene ID 351
NCBI Accession NP_000475.1
UniProt P05067
Research Area Neurology, Alzheimer's Disease
Application Notes APP peptide is used for blocking the activity of Anti-APP. Incubating the peptide with equalvolume of antibody for 30 min at 37°C usually completely blocks the antibody activity inWestern blotting. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
