Additional Information

Immunogen Synthetic peptide
Characteristics Blocking peptide for UBCE7IP1 (C-term) antibody ABIN388833
Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP2106b was selected from the C-term region of human UBCE7IP1 . A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Comments

Background: UBCE7IP1 is a cytoplasmic protein which specifically colocalizes and interacts with the serine/threonine protein kinase, receptor-interacting protein (RIP). Zinc finger domains of the encoded protein are required for its interaction with RIP and for inhibition of TNF- and IL1-induced NF-kappa B activation pathways. The encoded protein may also function as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase which accepts ubiquitin from E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes and transfers it to substrates.

Application Details

Storage Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles
Restrictions For Research Use only
