Additional Information

Immunogen Synthetic peptide
Characteristics Blocking peptide for Phospho-cJun-S73 antibody ABIN389546
Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP3075a was selected from the region of human Phospho-cJun-S73. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Comments

Background: The gene for cJun is the putative transforming gene of avian sarcoma virus 17. The cJun protein is a transcription factor highly similar to the viral protein, and interacts directly with specific target DNA sequences to regulate gene expression. The gene maps to 1p32-p31, a chromosomal region involved in both translocations and deletions in human malignancies.

Application Details

Storage Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles
