Additional Information
| Immunogen | Synthetic peptide |
| Characteristics | Blocking peptide for XPO1 (C-term) antibody ABIN390636 |
| Specificity | The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP6684b was selected from the C-term region of human XPO1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay. |
| Comments |
Background: XPO1 mediates leucine-rich nuclear export signal (NES)-dependent protein transport. Exportin 1 specifically inhibits the nuclear export of Rev and U snRNAs. It is involved in the control of several cellular processes by controlling the localization of cyclin B, MPAK, and MAPKAP kinase 2. This protein also regulates NFAT and AP-1. |
Application Details
| Storage | Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles |
| Restrictions | For Research Use only |
