Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP13816a was selected from the N-term region of LAPTM4A. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Background This gene encodes a protein that has four predicted transmembrane domains. The function of this gene has not yet been determined, however, studies in the mouse homolog suggest a role in the transport of small molecules across endosomal and lysosomal membranes.
