|Alternative Name||GSK3 alpha (GSK3a Antibody Abstract)|
|Background||Glycogen synthase kinase (GSK) is a protein serine kinase involved in the control of regulatory proteins such as glycogen synthase and the transcription factor, c-jun. In addition, it has been associated with the regulation of the microtubule-binding protein, Tau, thus indicating a potential role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's Disease.Synonyms: Factor A, GSK-3 alpha, GSK3A, Glycogen synthase kinase-3 alpha|
|Research Area||Cardiovascular, Hypertrophy, Atherosclerosis, Wnt, Kinases/Phosphatases, Wnt Signaling|
|Pathways||PI3K-Akt Signaling, WNT Signaling, Fc-epsilon Receptor Signaling Pathway, EGFR Signaling Pathway, Neurotrophin Signaling Pathway|
