    Background
AS3MT catalyzes the transfer of a methyl group from S-adenosyl-L-methionine (AdoMet) to trivalent arsenical and may play a role in arsenic metabolism. Recombinant human AS3MT protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
