    Background
FTSJ2 is a member of the S-adenosylmethionine-binding protein family. It is a nucleolar protein and it may be involved in the processing and modification of rRNA. This protein has been suggested to be involved in cell cycle control and DNA repair. Recombinant human FTSJ2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
