Characteristics The recombinant human GRK6/GST chimera consists of 826 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 95.1 kDa. It migrates as an approximately 85 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

Protein Structure: A DNA sequence encoding the human GRK6 isofrom B (P43250-2) (Met 1-Arg 589) was fused with the N-terminal polyhistidine-tagged GST tag at the N-terminus.
Predicted N-Term: Met
Purity > 93 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Endotoxin Level < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
ProductDetails: Biological Activity Comment The specific activity was determined to be 7 nmol/min/mg using casein as substrate.
Background Synonyms: GPRK6
Molecular Weight 95.1 kDa, 85 kDa
Research Area Signaling
Pathways Myometrial Relaxation and Contraction, Regulation of G-Protein Coupled Receptor Protein Signaling, CXCR4-mediated Signaling Events, Negative Regulation of Transporter Activity
Application Notes Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Buffer Supplied as sterile 20 mM Tris, 500 mM NaCl, 2 mM GSH, 0.5 mM PMSF, pH 7.4
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01 % Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Handling Advice Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage.
Storage -20 °C,-80 °C
Storage Comment Store it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping: Kinases are highly recommended to be shipped at frozen temperature with blue ice or dry ice.
Shipment made at ambient temperature may seriously affect the activity of the ordered products.
Expiry Date 12 months
