Additional Information

Description Human Fatty Acid Binding Protein-3 (FABP-3) exhibits high affinity for small lipophilic ligands. Studies suggest that FABPs are involved in the uptake and metabolism of fatty acids, maintenance of cellular membrane fatty acids levels, intracellular trafficking, modulation of specific enzymes of lipid metabolic pathways, as well as in the modulation of cell growth and differentiation.
Molecular Weight 19 kDa

Application Details

Purity >98% by SDS-PAGE analyses Endotoxin level is <0.1 ng per μ g.
Buffer Sterile filtered and lyophilized without additives
Storage The lyophilized protein is best-stored desiccated below 0 °C. Reconstituted human FABP-3 should be stored in working aliquots at -20 °C. Reconstitution: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4 °C for 1 week or – 20 °C for future use.
Restrictions For Research Use only
