Characteristics
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood lymphocytes using a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml.
Description
Lymphotactin is part of the C family chemokines that exhibit chemotactic activity toward lymphocytes but not toward monocytes or neutrophils. Recombinant Human lymphotactin is a 10 kDa protein containing 92 amino acid residues.

Purity
98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses Endotoxin level is <0.1 ng per μ g.
Buffer
Lyophilized with no additives. The protein may appear as a haze or film, which is difficult to see at the bottom of the vial.
Storage
The lyophilized protein is best-stored desiccated below 0 °C. Reconstituted human lymphotactin should be stored in working aliquots at -20 °C. Reconstitution: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4 °C for 1 week or – 20 °C for future use.
