    Background
SDCBP, also known as Syntenin1, is a multifunctional intracellular adapter protein. This protein contains tandemly repeated PDZ domains that react with the FYA (phe-tyr-ala) carboxyterminal amino acid sequence of the syndecans. It is involved in organization of protein complexes in the plasma membranes, regulation of B-cell development, activation of transcription factors, intracellular trafficking and cell-surface targeting, synaptic transmission, and axonal outgrowth. Recombinant human SDCBP protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography. Synonyms: Syntenin-1, MDA-9, ST1, SYCL, TACIP18. NCBI no.: NP_005616
    Molecular Weight
    34.6kDa(318aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF
