    Background
Retinoblastoma binding protein, also known as RBBP9, localizes to both the nucleus and the cytoplasm. RBBP9 is a retinoblastoma binding protein that may play a role in the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation. Specifically, RBBP9 interacts with retinoblastoma(Rb) and provides cellular resistance to the growth-inhibitory effects of TGFbeta1, thus facilitating the cellular transformation process. Recombinant human RBBP9 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Synonyms: Retinoblastoma binding protein 9, BOG, RBBP10. NCBI no.: NP_006597
    Molecular Weight
    23.1 kDa (206aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF
