    Background
RCN2, also known as reticulocalbin-2, is belongs to the CREC protein family. RCN2 is a calcium-binding protein located in the lumen of the ER. This protein contains six conserved regions with similarity to a high affinity Ca(+2)-binding motif, the EF-hand. Recombinant human RCN2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography. Synonyms: Reticulocalbin-2, E6BP, ERC55. NCBI no.: NP_002893
    Molecular Weight
36.8 kDa (313aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF (Molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher)
