    Background
PDCD3 is a member of the phosducin-like protein family and is a putative modulator of heterotrimeric G proteins. The protein shares extensive amino acid sequence homology with phosducin. Members of the phosducin-like protein family have been shown to bind to the beta-gamma subunits of G proteins. Recombinant human PDCL3 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography. Synonyms: Phosducin-Like protein 3 , HTPHLP, MGC3062, PHLP2A, PHLP3, VIAF, VIAF1. NCBI no.: NP_076970
