This company is leading in the development and production of substrates, secondary antibodies and other substances that are used in test kits (e.g. ready-to-use immunoassays). In 2007 BioFX Laboratories merged with SurModics, a company specializing in surface modification and development of drug delivery technologies for the health industry. The laboratories were then moved to Eden Prairie, Minnesota (USA). Together, the aim of these companies is to exchange their experience in these complementary areas in order to develop innovative products for research and diagnostics.
