We conclude that the effects of variation in the vacuolar ATPase (show DNAH8 ELISA Kits) may point to a new molecular mechanism that influences the long-term development of depression. This mechanism may involve dysfunction specifically in hippocampal circuitry and cognitive impairment that characterizes recurrent and chronic depression.
ATP6V1B2 is somatically mutated in 22% of follicular lymphoma tumors. Mutation hotspots found at Y371 and R400.
A missense mutation in ATP6V1B2 associated with Zimmermann-Laband syndrome.
The ATP6V1B2 p.Arg506X is a haploinsufficient mutation and resulted in abnormal acidification in lysosomes.
vatB1 and vatB2 are differentially expressed in embryos.
ATP6V1B2 is a molecular target of SIRT1 (show SIRT1 ELISA Kits) in fat cells.
Disruption of vacuolar H+-ATPase a3-B2 subunit interaction inhibited osteoclast bone resorption.
Redistribution of Atp6v1b2 occurs from intracellular compartments into the apical membrane of epididymal clear cells from Atp6v1b1 (show ATP6V1B1 ELISA Kits)(-/-) mice.
the activity of apical B2-containing V-ATPase (show ATP6V1H ELISA Kits) holoenzymes in A intercalated cells is sufficient to maintain baseline acid-base homeostasis
This gene encodes a component of vacuolar ATPase (V-ATPase), a multisubunit enzyme that mediates acidification of eukaryotic intracellular organelles. V-ATPase dependent organelle acidification is necessary for such intracellular processes as protein sorting, zymogen activation, receptor-mediated endocytosis, and synaptic vesicle proton gradient generation. V-ATPase is composed of a cytosolic V1 domain and a transmembrane V0 domain. The V1 domain consists of three A, three B, and two G subunits, as well as a C, D, E, F, and H subunit. The V1 domain contains the ATP catalytic site. The protein encoded by this gene is one of two V1 domain B subunit isoforms and is the only B isoform highly expressed in osteoclasts.
