Horse (Equine) Amiloride-Sensitive Cation Channel 3 (ACCN3) interaction partners

  1. Muscles from horses submitted to strenuous exercises produce lactic acid, which may induce variable pain through ACCN (show ACCN1 ELISA Kits) differential properties; ACCN1 (show ACCN2 ELISA Kits) and ACCN3 genes have an ubiquitous expression but ACCN1 (show ACCN2 ELISA Kits) is more highly expressed in the spinal cord.

  1. The results show that acid-sensing ion channel 1 (show ACCN2 ELISA Kits), acid-sensing ion channel 2 (show ACCN1 ELISA Kits), and acid-sensing ion channel 3 are expressed in A549 cells at the messenger RNA and protein levels, and acid-sensing ion channel (show ACCN2 ELISA Kits)-like currents were elicited by extracellular acid stimuli.

  2. Blocking ASIC3 in interneurons from temporal lobe epilepsy patients decreased the frequency of action potential firing.

  3. These findings open new perspectives on the roles of ASIC3 in the absence of tissue pH variation, as well as on the contribution of those channels to lipid-mediated signaling.

  4. Sea (show Slc25a1 ELISA Kits) anemone peptide with uncommon beta-hairpin structure inhibits acid-sensing ion channel 3 (ASIC3) and reveals analgesic activity.

  5. Experiments with Asic3 inhibitors show that Asic3 inhibition leads to loss of pressure-induced vasodilation due to pressure detection failure rather than endothelial mechanisms.

  6. The highly proton sensitive ASIC3 channels are predominantly distributed in peripheral sensory neurons, correlating with their roles in multimodal sensory perception, including nociception, mechanosensation, and chemosensation.

  7. CAR and ASIC3 co-immunoprecipitate only when co-expressed with PSD-95 (show DLG4 ELISA Kits).

  8. Lignan from thyme possesses inhibitory effect on ASIC3 channel current.

  9. A mechanism of induction of ASIC-3 expression relevant to AR was suggested by the finding that eosinophil peroxidase (EPO (show EPX ELISA Kits)), acting via ERK1/2 (show MAPK1/3 ELISA Kits), induced the expression of ASIC-3 in epithelial cells.

  10. ASIC3 is able to sense the extracellular pH in both directions and to dynamically adapt its activity between pH 5.0 and 8.0, playing a role in fine tuning neuronal membrane potentials and neuron sensitization in various pH environments.

Mouse (Murine) Amiloride-Sensitive Cation Channel 3 (ACCN3) interaction partners

  1. High ASIC3 expression is associated with Bone Pain Induced by Multiple Myeloma.

  2. This study suggested that the macrophage- and neutrophil-produced IL1beta (show IL1B ELISA Kits) in the muscles during I/R activates enhanced IL1r1 (show IL1RN ELISA Kits) in muscle afferents increase expression of ASIC3 possibly via JNK (show MAPK8 ELISA Kits) activation.

  3. segmental analgesia of electroacupuncture-induced analgesia (EA) with lower intensity is partially mediated by ASIC3 receptor on Abeta (show APP ELISA Kits)-fiber, whereas systemic analgesia induced by EA with higher intensity is more likely induced by TRPV1 (show TRPV1 ELISA Kits) receptor on Adelta- and C-fibers

  4. the potentiation of ASICs by quinine depends on the presence of the ASIC1a (show ACCN2 ELISA Kits), ASIC2a (show ACCN1 ELISA Kits) subunits, but not ASIC1b, ASIC3 subunits. Furthermore, we have determined the amino acids in ASIC1a (show ACCN2 ELISA Kits) that are involved in the modulation of ASICs by pHi.

  5. fatigue reduces pH in muscle that subsequently activates ASIC3 on macrophages to enhance hyperalgesia to muscle insult.

  6. ASIC3 is critical for scratching behavior and pathological changes in chronic itch.

  7. Data suggest that activation of acid-sensing ion channel 3 (ASIC3) on fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS) by acidic pH from an inflamed joint could limit synovial proliferation resulting in reduced inflammatory mediators and subsequent joint damage.

  8. we unraveled an important role of ASIC3 in regulating cardiac autonomic function, whereby loss of ASIC3 alters the normal physiological response to ischemic stimuli.

  9. The activation of asic3 activity are essential for the development of long-lasting hyperalgesia in acid-induced, chronic, widespread muscle pain.

  10. Sea (show Slc25a1 ELISA Kits) anemone peptide with uncommon beta-hairpin structure inhibits acid-sensing ion channel 3 (ASIC3) and reveals analgesic activity.

Amiloride-Sensitive Cation Channel 3 (ACCN3) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a member of the degenerin/epithelial sodium channel (DEG/ENaC) superfamily. The members of this family are amiloride-sensitive sodium channels that contain intracellular N and C termini, two hydrophobic transmembrane regions, and a large extracellular loop, which has many cysteine residues with conserved spacing. The member encoded by this gene is an acid sensor and may play an important role in the detection of lasting pH changes. In addition, a heteromeric association between this member and acid-sensing (proton-gated) ion channel 2 has been observed as proton-gated channels sensitive to gadolinium. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
