The protein encoded by CLCA4 belongs to the calcium sensitive chloride conductance protein family. Additionally we are shipping Chloride Channel Accessory 4 Antibodies (8) and and many more products for this protein.
Showing 2 out of 2 products:
CLCA4 and CLCA2 play complementary but distinct roles in epithelial differentiation
CLCA4 modulates the capability to express residual chloride secretion in colonic tissue.
CLCA1 (show CLCA1 ELISA Kits) and CLCA4 may have roles as modulators of the gastrointestinal basic defect in cystic fibrosis (show S100A8 ELISA Kits)
cleavage of the mCLCA6 E157Q variant protein is zinc-dependent and sensitive to metalloprotease inhibitors, suggesting secondary cleavage by a metalloprotease.
mCLCA6 is colocalized with CFTR (show CFTR ELISA Kits) at the surface of colonic crypt cells
Deleterious mutation of the CLCA4b gene is not associated with cystic fibrosis (show S100A8 ELISA Kits) phenotype.
The porcine chloride channel (show CLCA1 ELISA Kits) calcium-activated family member pCLCA4a mirrors lung expression of the human hCLCA4.
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the calcium sensitive chloride conductance protein family. To date, all members of this gene family map to the same site on chromosome 1p31-p22 and share high degrees of homology in size, sequence and predicted structure, but differ significantly in their tissue distributions. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, only one of which is thought to be protein coding.
