These data indicate that the coordinated, temporal ordering of cyclin F and Cdh1 (show CDH1 ELISA Kits) degradation, organized in a double-negative feedback loop, represents a fundamental aspect of cell-cycle control
Authors demonstrated a significant correlation between the severity of the CCNF-induced axonopathy and a reduced motor response to a light stimulus (photomotor response).
Cyclin F-mediated degradation of SLBP (show SLBP ELISA Kits) limits H2A.X (show H2AFX ELISA Kits) accumulation and apoptosis upon genotoxic stress in G2 cell cycle checkpoint.
cyclin F is a novel F-box protein (show FBXW10 ELISA Kits) that functions as an intrinsic cellular regulator of HIV-1 Vif (show BTG1 ELISA Kits) and has a negative regulatory effect on the maintenance of viral infectivity by restoring APOBEC3G (show APOBEC3G ELISA Kits) expression
The SCYL1- BP1 (show GORAB ELISA Kits) affects the cell cycle through increasing steady state levels of Cyclin F and RRM2 (show RRM2 ELISA Kits) proteins, thus constituting a dual regulatory circuit.
Data indicate that a missense mutation in cyclin F (CCNF) in a large Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS (show IGFALS ELISA Kits)) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD (show FTL ELISA Kits)) family.
CDC6 (show CDC6 ELISA Kits) and Cyclin F interact through defined sequence motifs that promote CDC6 (show CDC6 ELISA Kits) ubiquitylation and degradation.
Cyclin F suppresses B-Myb (show MYBL2 ELISA Kits) activity to promote cell cycle checkpoint control.
Cyclin F controls genome stability through ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis. (Review)
After DNA damage, cyclin F is downregulated in an ATR (show ANTXR1 ELISA Kits)-dependent manner to allow accumulation of RRM2 (show RRM2 ELISA Kits). Defective elimination of cyclin F delays DNA repair and sensitizes cells to DNA damage, a phenotype that is reverted by expressing a nondegradable RRM2 (show RRM2 ELISA Kits) mutant.
SCF(Cyclin F)-mediated degradation of CP110 is required for the fidelity of mitosis and genome integrity
CycF(-/-) animals, with a myriad of developmental anomalies due in large part to failures in yolk sac (show ADCY10 ELISA Kits) and chorioallantoic placentation, die around embryonic day 10.5.
This gene encodes a member of the cyclin family. Cyclins are important regulators of cell cycle transitions through their ability to bind and activate cyclin-dependent protein kinases. This member also belongs to the F-box protein family which is characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif, the F-box. The F-box proteins constitute one of the four subunits of the ubiquitin protein ligase complex called SCFs (SKP1-cullin-F-box), which function in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination. The F-box proteins are divided into 3 classes: Fbws containing WD-40 domains, Fbls containing leucine-rich repeats, and Fbxs containing either different protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Fbxs class and it was one of the first proteins in which the F-box motif was identified.
