Mouse (Murine) PROC ELISA Kit for Sandwich ELISA - ABIN415711
Kawasaki, Okamoto, Kawasaki, Sata: Thrombomodulin improved liver injury, coagulopathy, and mortality in an experimental heatstroke model in mice. in Anesthesia and analgesia 2014
Data show that activated protein C signals via protease activated receptors PAR2 (show F2RL1 ELISA Kits)/PAR3 (show F2RL2 ELISA Kits) to expand Treg cells, mitigating the disease in mice.
insulin (show INS ELISA Kits) and aPC (show APC ELISA Kits) converge on a common spliced-X-box binding protein-1 (show XBP1 ELISA Kits) (sXBP1) signaling pathway to maintain endoplasmic reticulum (ER) homeostasis.
loss of the convertase furin (show FURIN ELISA Kits) or PC5 (show PCSK5 ELISA Kits)/6 in hepatocytes results in a approximately 30% decrease in APC (show APC ELISA Kits) levels, with no significant contribution from PACE4. We conclude that prior convertase cleavage of protein C in hepatocytes is critical for its thrombin (show F2 ELISA Kits) activation.
APC (show APC ELISA Kits) modifies pulmonary fibrosis by limiting thrombin (show F2 ELISA Kits)-dependent macrophage recruitment.
Small interfering RNA-mediated silencing of protein C in apolipoprotein E (show APOE ELISA Kits)-deficient mice creates a condition that allows the occurrence of spontaneous atherothrombosis.
These findings reveal a novel biological function and mechanism of the protein C pathway in which protein S and the aPC (show APC ELISA Kits)-cleaved form of fV are cofactors for anti-inflammatory cell signaling by aPC (show APC ELISA Kits) in the context of endotoxemia and infection
activated PC-EPCR-PAR1 signaling promotes hematopoietic stem cell retention in bone marrow.
impaired EPCR (show PROCR ELISA Kits)/protein C-binding interactions not only result in procoagulant and proinflammatory effects, but also impact hematopoiesis
SOD prevents thrombomodulin (show THBD ELISA Kits) methionine oxidation, promotes protein C activation, and protects against arterial and venous thrombosis in mice.
sPLA2 (show PLA2G2A ELISA Kits)-V plays a thrombogenic role by impairing the ability of EPCR (show PROCR ELISA Kits) to promote protein C activation.
Using protein C-factor VII (show TH ELISA Kits) chimera demonstrate that APC (show APC ELISA Kits) light chain amino acid residues outside the EPCR (show PROCR ELISA Kits)-binding site enable cytoprotective PAR1 signaling.
We recently identified a venous thrombosis patient whose plasma level of protein C antigen is normal, but its anticoagulant activity is only 34 % of the normal level. Genetic analysis revealed that the proband and her younger brother carry a novel heterozygous mutation c.346G>A, p.Gly74Ser (G74S) in PROC.
Developed functional protein S assays that measure both the activated protein C- and TFPI (show TFPI ELISA Kits)-cofactor activities of protein S in plasma, which are hardly if at all affected by the FV Leiden mutation.
Protein C seems inversely associated with mortality in patients with advanced prostate, lung and pancreatic cancer. Further research should validate protein C as a biomarker for mortality, and explore the effects of protein C on progression of cancer.
Genetically higher protein C was associated with a lower risk of ischaemic heart disease.
EPCR (show PROCR ELISA Kits) occupancy recruits G-protein coupled receptor kinase 5 (show GRK5 ELISA Kits), thereby inducing beta-arrestin-2 (show ARRB2 ELISA Kits) biased PAR1 signaling by both APC (show APC ELISA Kits) and thrombin (show F2 ELISA Kits). In
A novel mutation of A309V in PROC was determined in a family of two patients with late onset protein C deficiency
Both probands had hereditary protein C deficiencies, for which their parents were all carriers.
Variants influencing circulating protein C levels in the CELSR2 (show CELSR2 ELISA Kits)-PSRC1 (show PSRC1 ELISA Kits)-SORT1 (show SORT1 ELISA Kits) region may indicate a novel genetic link between lipoprotein metabolism and hemostasis.
Activated protein c is a ghrelin (show GHRL ELISA Kits) endopeptidase.
Activated protein C(APC (show APC ELISA Kits)) combined with protein S(PS) had significant antithrombotic effect. APC (show APC ELISA Kits) combined with PS prolonged clotting time. Dependence on APC (show APC ELISA Kits)-cofactor activity of PS for expression of anticoagulant activity by APC (show APC ELISA Kits).
This gene encodes a vitamin K-dependent plasma glycoprotein. The encoded protein is cleaved to its activated form by the thrombin-thrombomodulin complex. This activated form contains a serine protease domain and functions in degradation of the activated forms of coagulation factors V and VIII. Mutations in this gene have been associated with thrombophilia due to protein C deficiency, neonatal purpura fulminans, and recurrent venous thrombosis.
