ELISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blotting (WB)
    Specificity
    IgG F(c)
    Cross-Reactivity
    Cow (Bovine)
    Characteristics
Anti-Bovine IgG F(c) antibody generated in rabbit detects specifically bovine IgG. This secondary antibody anti-Bovine is ideal for investigators who routinely perform titration assays, western-blot, immunoprecipitation and more generally immunoassays.
Concentration Definition: by UV absorbance at 280 nm
    Purification
    Preadsorption: Solid phase absorption
    Sterility
    Sterile filtered
    Immunogen

Immunogen: Anti-Bovine IgG F(c) was produced by repeated immunization with bovine IgG F(c) fragment in rabbit.

    Immunogen Type: Native Protein

    Isotype
    IgG
  • Application Notes

    Immunohistochemistry Dilution: 1:1,000 - 1:5,000

Application Note: Bovine IgG F(c) Antibody is suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA, and immunohistochemistry requiring extremely low background levels, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity.

    ELISA Dilution: 1:20,000 - 1:100,000

    Western Blot Dilution: 1:2,000 - 1:10,000

    Background

Synonyms: rabbit anti-Bovine IgG F(c) Antibody, Rb-a-Bovine IgG F(c), Bovine IgG F(c) Antibody in Rabbit, Rabbit IgG F(c) Secondary Antibody.

Background: Secreted as part of the adaptive immune response by plasma B cells, immunoglobulin G constitutes 75 % of serum immunoglobulins. Immunoglobulin G binds to viruses, bacteria, as well as fungi and facilitates their destruction or neutralization via agglutination (and thereby immobilizing them), activation of the compliment cascade, and opsinization for phagocytosis. This product possesses the F(c) region, recognized by high-affinity Fc receptor proteins.
