Specificity: Recognizes proteins of 72kD and 66kD which are identified as pro (latent) and active forms of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2, also known as 72kD collagenase IV or gelatinase A). Shows no cross-reactivity with pro and active forms of other MMPs. Recognizes human.

Application Notes: Approved: IF, IHC, IP, WB (1 - 2 μg/mL)

Usage: Western blot: 1-2 μg/mL for 2 hours at RT. Immunofluorescence. Immunoprecipitation on native protein: 2 μg/mg of protein lysate. Not suitable for immunohistochemistry. Positive control: Conditioned, serum-free medium from (TPA-treated) HFL-1 cells.
